Service Description

Where Is My Money Going? is a free online tool that analyzes bank statement data to help users identify spending patterns, subscriptions, and potential savings opportunities. The service processes data in memory only and does not store user financial information.

Voluntary Upload

All data uploads are entirely voluntary. You choose what to submit. You may use the “Try with sample data” feature to see how the tool works without uploading any personal data.

Temporary Processing

All uploaded data is processed in server memory only. Files are not saved to disk, databases, or cloud storage. Once analysis is complete and results are delivered, all transaction data is immediately discarded from memory. Buffers are cleared.

AI-Enhanced Analysis

This service may use Anthropic's Claude API for enhanced spending insights. When AI analysis is used, only anonymized, redacted, aggregated data is sent — never raw transaction details with identifiable information. Per Anthropic's API terms, data sent through the API is not used for model training.

Not Financial Advice

Important: This tool is for informational and educational purposes only. The analysis, insights, and suggestions provided do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. No Data Resale

Always verify important findings with your actual bank records. The informational output is provided as-is and you are responsible for any decisions made based on it.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which is $0 as this is a free tool).
